DPS Mewat Model School Nuh is the oldest CBSE affiliated school of District Nuh. In fact, it is the only leading school of the area. The school was started by the Govt. of Haryana to provide the quality education in this educationally backward area of Mewat region. Headed by the ld. Commissioner Gurugram / Faridabad as the Chairman of the running Society i.e. Mewat model Schools Society , the school is dedicated to the people of Mewat Region. Since the very beginning, the school is serving the people of this area by imparting quality education to the children.
Presently The Education Deptt of Haryana State has Taken over this school and Re- named as Govt. Model Sanskriti Sr. Sec. School – II Nuh. By virtue of being a Govt school, the students coming from poor families (families having Annual income <180000/- , have been given 100 % free ship, free books up to 8th std. and all other facilities entitled to all Govt. Schools of the State.
The school is well equipped with Science Laboratories, Library, Computer lab, Smart class Rooms, Atal tinkering lab, sports facilities, purified potable water and all other amenities and facilities available in Model / Public Schools of a Metro/ Mega cities of the nation.
Governing Body:
Besides the valuable patrons, guidelines and instructions of worthy Educationists and Officers of Directorate of Secondary Education Haryana, the school is governed by a local School Management Committee. The members of this Committee has been selected and nominated by the House of Parents and Guardians. The selection and nomination of the members is being done democratically keeping in view the guidelines of the State Govt. Haryana.
